Chronicling America’s Fight Against COVID-19

By early March of 2020, it had become clear that the coronavirus was going to become a major event in the history of the United States, prompting me to write a daily diary recording the spread and impact of the virus and the measures being taken by the governments of the United States and its individual states to contain its spread and to develop vaccines, therapeutics and clinical methods for treating COVID-19, a term used to describe the wide-range of maladies caused by the virus.  After a couple of weeks of recording events, I realized that it would be useful to periodically assess where the events which I had recorded were leading . The articles set forth in this Blog are the product of those periodic assessments and are organized in reverse chronological order, each of which is dated.
